He was rushed an ambulance to UCLA medical center, reportedly from a cardiac arrest

TMZ.com reports that Michael Jackson has been confirmed dead, they have spoken to family members and they have confirmed the news that the king of pop is dead.

So far every other news agency is saying he is only hospitalized and not mentioned his death.

UPDATE: 6:23pm EST - Michael Jackson is in a coma. CNN says he may have brain damage, depending on how fast he was attended to following his cardiac arrest

Notes: Michael Jackson was otherwise healthy, with the exception of the disease Vitiligo - he was rumored to have had an Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency but Michael denied this.
