New in Germany that is. The late Carradine is Schneider’s Mr. Miyagi in this flick - I just watched the German trailer for the movie…don’t ask why…okay, do ask…I was doing some SEO/Social Networking research on German (.de) domains and found a brand new sexy banner for the movie Big Stan - I don’t remember it AT ALL, but according to IMDB it was released in 2007 here in the United States - well apparently, it’s brand new in Germany and they’re selling tickets to this bad boy.
In case you don’t know, Mr. David Carradine of Kung Fu fame recently passed away - this added to the irony for me since Germany will get to watch him perform only a few weeks after his death - affording German viewers a unique emotional-perspective, if not admiration for the 72 year-old actor.
If you must know, I saw the flash banner ad atop Yigg.de - Germany’s own German-language Digg clone.
IMDB Release Dates confirms that the release date in Germany is June 25, 2009. What’s ironic to me is that Kazakhtan released this movie on June 6 of 2008! And South Korea showed it on TV on November 25, 2007.
You can watch the trailer on the film’s official German website: www.bigstan-derfilm.de
